MORAL ONLY WHEN DEFENDING TYRANNY?

Michael Kelly writes:
To march against the war is not to give peace a chance. It is to give tyranny a chance. It is to give the Iraqi nuke a chance. It is to give the next terrorist mass murder a chance. It is to march for the furtherance of evil instead of the vanquishing of evil.

This cannot be the moral position.

THANKS TO INSTAPUNDIT...

...For pointing out this Michael Kelly article in The Atlantic. Blogs are mentioned several times. Debate continues, unabated.

SAVAGE IS STILL ON A ROLL

cover
Michael Savage's "The Savage Nation" still sits at #1 on the New York Times non-fiction bestseller list. Liberals are agog.

In an obvious riposte to Fox News, MSNBC has announced that they will give Savage his own TV show starting sometime in March. The show will air on Saturdays at 2 p.m. Pacific. Peter Hartlaub covered the MSNBC announcement story for the San Francisco Chronicle.

A JUST WAR

The argument that war must be avoided at all cost is ill conceived. In fact, many times there is a moral imperative for war. The editors at National Review Online tackle his issue here

In December 2002, George Weigel penned a great article for First Things on the just war tradition. That article can be found at FirstThings.com.
