We Did Actually Arrive
Sara and I arrived in Portland, Texas on May 30th after experiencing some challenges along the way (our car trailer suffered a flat tire in Gonzalez). Fortunately for us, we were greeted by about 10 new friends of First Presbyterian Church who helped us unload into our new pad. We're happy as can be imagined given that we recently got married, graduated, and moved within a three month span. We eagerly anticipate our ministry in our new home!

Packing Up
Sara and I leave on Wednesday for Portland, Texas. I'll be working as a temporary supply pastor, and Sara will be taking on youth ministry in Corpus Christi! As you can see, the packing has been vigorous.Technorati Tags: Presbyterian Church USA, Moving, Post-Seminary Life

Jump Jive An' Wail
I'm jumping, jiving, and wailing in celebration of our forthcoming graduation from seminary. I like to imagine that Mr. Setzer currently occupies the job I would have had I not been called by God to something else. Crank it up!

FINISHED!
I turned in my final two papers at about 1:30 pm today. The feeling of relief is so profound that it is accompanied by a sweet taste, like honey.
For those of you still plugging away, know that you're in my prayers. We'll keep the keg cold in the meantime.
