Another highly-qualified judge has been temporarily appointed thanks to President Bush:
WASHINGTON - Bypassing angry Senate Democrats, President Bush installed Alabama Attorney General William Pryor as a U.S. appeals court judge on Friday in his second "recess appointment" of a controversial nominee in five weeks.One of the reasons that Judge Pryor is considered "controversial" is that Senator Schumer didn't like the fact that the nominee was Catholic.
